摘要: 波浪形是微通道混合器中常见的结构之一,其通道内可产生较为复杂的迪恩涡(或称二次流),能显著提高混合性能。采用数值模拟方法在雷诺数1~300范围内对正圆波和不同半轴长比(a/b)的椭圆波浪形微通道的混合性能、压降及混合成本进行了研究。对于相同长度微通道,研究发现不同半轴长比对混合性能有不同影响。在所考察的范围内,波浪形微通道存在着一个相对最优半轴长比(a/b=0.65),在此半轴长比下混合性能总体较好,压降相对较低,混合成本最低。

Effect of Wavy Microchannel Semi-Axial Length Ratio on Mixing

Abstract: The wavy shape is one of the common structures in the microchannel mixer, which can generate complex Dean vortices (or secondary flows) in the channel, which can significantly improve the mixing performance. The mixing performance, pressure drop and mixing cost of elliptical wave microchannels with normal circular waves and different semi-axial length ratios (a/b) were investigated by numerical simulation in the Reynolds number range of 1-300. For microchannels of the same length, it is found that different semi-axial length ratios have different effects on the mixing performance. In the investigated range, there is a relatively optimal semi-axial length ratio (a/b=0.65) for the wavy microchannel. Under this semi-axial length ratio, the mixing performance is generally better, the pressure drop is relatively low, and the mixing cost is lowest.
