摘 要:以酚醛树脂中空球为原材料合成了中空碳球(HCS),并制备了 HCS 阻燃环氧树脂
(EP)复合材料。采用热重分析(TGA)和锥形量热测试(CCT)等分别研究了 EP/HCS 复合材 料的热稳定性、阻燃和抑烟性能,初步探讨了 HCS 对环氧树脂阻燃性能的影响规律与作用机 制。研究结果表明,HCS 能够提高环氧树脂复合材料的热稳定性、阻燃和抑烟性能。与纯环 氧 树 脂 的 相 应 参 数 相 比 ,质 量 分 数 1. 00% 的 HCS 使 EP/HCS
1. 00 样 品 的 热 释 放 速 率 峰 值 (pHRR)降低了 53. 2%,使 EP/HCS1. 00
样品的点燃时间延长了 36 s,使 EP/HCS1. 00样品的残炭 剩余量提高了 16. 1%。HCS 是通过改变环氧树脂复合材料燃烧过程中的炭层结构发挥阻燃作用的。

Preparation and Properties of Flame Retardant Epoxy Composites Based on Hollow Carbon Spheres

Abstract:In this paper, hollow carbon spheres (HCS) were synthesized from phenolic resin hollow spheres, and flame retardant epoxy (EP) composites were prepared HCS. The thermal stability, flame retardant and smoke suppression properties of EP/HCS composites were stud ied by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and cone calorimetry (CCT), respectively. The influence of HCS on the flame retardant properties of epoxy composites were discussed. The results showed that HCS can improve the thermal stability, flame retardant and smoke suppres sion properties of epoxy composites. Compared with the corresponding parameters of pure epoxy resin,1. 00% HCS maked the peak value of heat release rate (pHRR) from the EP/ HCS
1. 00sample decreased by 53. 2%, making the ignition time of EP/HCS1. 00sample extended by 36 s, and making the residual carbon content of EP/HCS1. 00sample increased by 16. 1%. It can be seen that HCS plays a excelent flame retardant role by changing the carbon layer struc ture in the combustion process of epoxy composites.
