摘要: 以三聚氰胺(MEL)、多聚甲醛和季戊四醇(PER)为原料,通过羟甲基化、醚化和缩聚合成了一种新型的大分子三嗪成炭剂-季戊四醇接枝三聚氰胺甲醛树脂(MF-MPER),其较好的合成条件:n(MEL)∶n(PER)∶n(甲醛)=1∶45∶75,羟甲基化的pH为9,温度为75 ℃,时间为1 h;醚化及缩聚的pH为15,温度为75 ℃,时间为4 h。在以上条件下,MF-MPER的质量产率为3250%,水中的溶解度为0194 g·(100 g)-1。热重分析和阻燃试验表明,MF-MPER的热稳定性、成炭性和阻燃作用远好于季戊四醇。此外,MF-MPER具有合成工艺简单,合成过程中三废排放量少,原料便宜易得,产品不含氯,难溶于水等优点。

Preparation and Properties of Melamine Formaldehyde

Abstract: A novel macromolecular triazine charring agent-melamine formaldehyde resin grafted with pentaerythritol(MF-MPER) was prepared using melamine, paraformaldehyde and pentaerythritol as raw materials through hydroxymethylation,etherification and polycondensation. When the preparation condition is n(melamine) ∶n(PER) ∶n(formaldehyde)=1∶45∶75, the pH of hydroxymethylation is 9, heated to 75 ℃ and maintained for 1 h; the pH of etherification and polycondensation is 15, keep the temperature at 75 ℃ for 4 h, the reaction result is better. Under the above conditions, the mass yield of MF-MPER is 3250%,the water-solubility is 0194 g·(100 g)-1. Thermogravimetric analysis(TGA) and flame retardant test showed that MF-MPER exhibits better thermal stability, charring property and flame retardancy than pentaerythritol. Besides, MF-MPER has some advantages such as simple synthesis process, less emissions of three wastes in the synthesis process, cheap and available raw materials, chlorine-free and insoluble in water.
