摘要: 用(3-氧代丁酸乙酯根-O1′,O3)二(丙醇-2-根)合铝铝酸酯偶联剂(ACA)对氢氧化镁进行湿法表面改性。通过红外光谱(FT-IR)、X射线衍射(XRD)、热重分析(TG)、扫描电镜(SEM)、能谱仪(EDS)、水接触角等对其改性表现进行研究,表明铝酸酯偶联剂只是作用于氢氧化镁表面,并未改变其晶体结构,氢氧化镁表面由亲水疏油性变为亲油疏水性。相比于未改性氢氧化镁,改性后氢氧化镁粉体的热稳定性与分散性得到提高。沉降速度、吸油率、悬浊液黏度结果表明,当铝酸酯偶联剂用量为4%(质量分数)时,氢氧化镁粉体的湿法表面改性效果最好。

Surface Modification of Magnesium Hydroxide by Aluminate Coupling Agent

Abstract: The surface of magnesium hydroxide (MH) was wet-modified by aluminate coupling agent (ACA). The modification was studied by FT-IR, XRD, SEM, TG, water contact angle, etc. It was shown that the aluminate coupling agent only acts on the surface of MH powder and didn′t change its crystal structure, and its surface was changed from hydrophilic to hydrophobic,and the dispersibility and thermal stability were significantly improved compared with unmodified MH. The results of sedimentation speed, oil absorption and suspension viscosity show that the amount of aluminate coupling agent is 4% (mass fraction), the wet surface modification effect of MH powder is the best.
