摘要: 船只尾迹检测作为近年来合成孔径雷达(SAR)图像海洋应用的一个重要方面受到广泛的关注,针对传统基于Radon变换的尾迹检测算法所存在的不足,提出一种结合图像增强、边缘检测、阈值分割、形态学细化和Radon变换进行斑点噪声抑制和船尾迹自动检测的算法。对真实SAR图像的处理结果表明,该算法较好的解决了传统Radon变换尾迹检测算法中尾迹真实性难以自动判定的问题,能够较准确的实现船只目标附近区域中的船尾迹的自动检测。

A New Type of Algorithm for Detection of Ship Wake in SAR Images

Abstract: As one of the important applications in SAR images, ship wake detection has been received considerable attentions in the area of marine remote sensing. Because of the shortcomings of the traditional wake detection algorithm based on Radon transform, this paper proposes a new type of ship wake detection algorithm, which combines image enhancement, edge detection, threshold segmentation, morphologic thinning with Radon transform to suppress the speckle noise and detect ship wakes. The actual data processing results show that the new algorithm can detect wake more effectively and accurately in the area nearby the ship object than the traditional wake detection algorithms based on Radon transform.
