电子离子间相对漂移激发静电波的粒子模拟研究

摘要:利用一维静电粒子模拟方法,研究了电子离子双流激发的静电波。研究结果表明,当离子的温度大于电子的温度时,如果电子离子之间的相对漂移速度足够大,将会激发较强的朗缪尔波。在非线性阶段,具有较小波数的Buneman不稳定性被激发。电子的分布函数表明,这些波动是由速度较高的电子束流激发。随着电子的初始漂移速度的增大,电子的加热效果变得更加明显,这意味着更多的高能电子产生。

Electrostatic Waves Excited by Drift Velocity Between Electron and Ions with Particleincell Simulation

 Abstract: The evolution of electrostatic wave excited by the electronion streaming is investigated using onedimensional electrostatic particleincell simulation. When the ion temperature is greater than that of the electron, our simulation results suggest that the intense Langmuir wave probably can be excited by the electronelectron beam with large enough drift velocity. During the nonlinear period, the Buneman instability with smaller dominant wave number is excited. The electron distributions suggest that these waves should be excited by the electron beam produced in the simulation. The electron heating becomes more obvious with the increase of the initial drift velocity, which means the more energetic electrons generated.
