摘要:以氯化铁(FeCl3)为催化剂,聚乳酸(PLA)为原料,通过醇解反应制备乳酸烷基酯。采用正交试验考察了反应条件对甲醇醇解PLA结果的影响,得到的较佳反应条件为温度130℃、时间4 h、n(FeCl3)∶n(PLA)=0.01∶1、n(甲醇)∶n(PLA)=5∶1。在上述反应条件下,PLA转化率≥95%,乳酸甲酯收率≥87%。将甲醇换作乙醇、正丙醇、异丙醇或正丁醇,也得到了较好的反应结果。另外,对催化剂的回用性能进行了考察,结果表明:重复回用6次后,PLA的转化率及甲酯的收率无明显变化。采用FT-IR技术对醇解产物进行了表征。

Preparation of Alkyl Lactates by Alcoholysis of Waste Poly(L-lactic acid)

Abstract: In this paper, alkyl lactates were synthesized from poly(Llactic acid) (PLA) with ferric chloride (FeCl3) as catalyst. By the orthogonal experimental method, the effects of the various reaction conditions on the methanolysis of PLA were observed, and the obtained optimum reaction conditions were reaction temperature 130 ℃, reaction time 4 h, n(ferric chloride):n(PLA)=001:1, n(methanol):n(PLA)=5:1. Under above conditions, the conversion of PLA and yield of methyl lactate were greater than or equal to 95% and greater than or equal to 87%, respectively. Furthermore, a good reaction result was obtained when the methanol was replaced by ethanol, n-pro-panol, isopropanol or butanol. Otherwise,the reusability of the catalyst in the methanolysis was investigated, and the results showed that it could be reused up to 6 times without an apparent decrease in the conversion of PLA and yield of methyl lactate under the given conditions. The structures of the obtained products were characterized by FT-IR.
