Abstract: The influence of ACM/EMA blending ratio on the curing characteristics, mechanical properties, heat aging stability and oil resistance of vulcanizate were investigated. The results show that with EMA/ACM blending ration decreasing, the vulcanizate of crosslinking density decreased first and then increased, the scorch time was not affected, curing rate decreased first and then increased;the vulcanizate of hardness increased gradually, tensile strength and modulus at 100% basically remain unchanged first and then increased gradually, tear strength increased gradually, volume change ratio and mass change ratio of vulcanizate increased gradually, oil resistance of vulcanizate got worse;the heat aging stability of vulcanizates did not get worse after EVM being applied in NBR;vulcanizing agent DCP and TCY reacted during curing process and reduced the curing degree of vulcanizates and generated H2S,caused bubbles in the surface of vulcanizate.

 Key words:  acrylate rubber(ACM);ethylene methacrylate(EMA);vulcanizing agentreact;mechanical properties;heat aging stability;oil resistance
