摘要: 以环氧氯丙烷和二甲胺为原料合成出了聚季铵盐(PEM),然后以过硫酸铵和异丙醇氧化还原体系引发聚季铵盐与丙烯酰胺(AM)进行接枝聚合反应得到一种新型阳离子絮凝剂PEM/AM。对PEM/AM接枝效率、电荷密度、特性黏度以及絮凝性能进行了测试,并采用红外光谱对其结构进行了表征。PEM/AM的最佳合成条件为:m(AM )∶ m(PEM)≈5∶1,异丙醇浓度为50 mmol·L-1左右,反应温度为70 ℃左右,反应时间约为4 h。絮凝性能评价结果表明,相同加量情况下PEM/AM絮凝剂除油、除浊及降低CODCr效果明显优于实验所选用的3种市售聚丙烯酰胺类絮凝剂。

Synthesis and Properties of a Cationic Flocculant PEM/AM

Abstract: In this article, epichlorohydrin and dimethylamine were employed to synthesize a poly-quaternary ammonium salt (PEM). Then PEM and acrylamide (AM) composed a graft polymerization (PEM/AM) initialized by ammonium persulfate and isopropyl alcohol oxidation reduction system. The graft yield, intrinsic viscosity, charge density and turbidity reducing ratio of PEM/AM flocculant were determined and its structure was indicated by IR. The optimized reaction conditions for PEM/AM flocculant are as follows: m(AM )∶m(PEM)≈5∶1, the concentration of isopropyl alcohol is about 50 mmol·L-1, the reaction temperature is about 70℃ and the reaction time is about 4 h. The experiment results show that the turbidity-reducing, oil-reducing and COD-reducing performances of PEM/AM flocculant are more outstanding than three PAM flocculants with same adding.
