基于边缘切除原理的牙体混合绘制算法

 摘要:针对内外兼具、有复杂轮廓的螺旋CT牙齿断层图像数据,提出一种基于边缘切除原理的混合绘制算法。在不改变传递函数的前提下,通过识别空体素,剔除绝对空体素来明显提高绘制速度的同时,保持较高的图像绘制质量。在绘制过程中加入人工干预,绘制模型不仅外形逼真,且内部髓腔及根管系统清晰可见,为后续根管疾病辅助诊断、手术仿真等提供初始模型,在医学处理及分析、可视化教学等领域具有广泛的应用前景。

Dental Hybrid Rendering Algorithm Based on Marginal Resection

Abstract: A spiral CT image of teeth contains numerous data, which describe not only the complex outer profile, but also the interior structure of the teeth. We propose a hybrid rendering algorithm based on the principle of marginal resection, and the algorithm can give high rendering quality by removing identified the empty voxels, without changing of the transfer function. By supplying manual intervention in the rendering process, we can obtain satisfying teeth model with exact outer shape and clear interior images of pulp cavity and root canal system, which could be employed as the initial models for the follow-up diagnosis of root canal disease and surgery simulation. It is expected to have broad applications in the field of medical treatment, analysis and visualization teaching.
