摘 要:制备了 3 种具有精确结构的金属纳米团簇(NCs),即 Au11(PPh3)7Cl3、[Au25(PPh3)10- (SR)5Cl2]2+ 、[Au37(PPh3)10(SR)10Cl2]2+(SR=苯乙硫醇),系统性研究了金纳米团簇(AuNCs)一维尺寸效应对二氧化碳(CO2)电还原性能的影响规律。结果表明金属核心结构单元 尺寸与其电催化性能并不是总是正相关,而是存在一个最有利于电催化 CO2还原(eCO2RR) 的合适尺寸结构单元,该工作为设计合成具有高效催化性能导向的催化剂提供了新的观点。

Study of Size Effect of Atomically Precise Gold Nanoclusters on Electrocatalytic CO2 Reduction

Abstract:In this article, we used three metal nanoclusters (NCs) with precise structures, namely Au11(PPh3)7Cl3,[Au25(PPh3)10(SR)5Cl2]+ ,[Au37(PPh3)10(SR)10Cl2]+ (SR=phenyl‑ thiol), to investigate the size effect of gold NCs on the electrochemical reduction performance of carbon dioxide (CO2) on the metal core. The results indicate that the size of the metal core structural unit is not always positively correlated with its electrocatalytic performance. Instead, there exists a suitable size structural unit that is most conducive to electrocatalytic CO2 reduc‑ tion (eCO2RR), providing experimental basis and theoretical guidance for designing and synthe‑ sizing catalysts with efficient catalytic performance orientation.
