摘 要:模块化多电平变换器(modular multilevel converter,MMC)由于具有模块化和扩展性 的特点,在柔性直流输电领域受到广泛关注。然而,应用于中压电力系统的 MMC 由于子模块 数较低,存在电平数低,谐波含量高的问题。为了减少滤波器的投资,进一步提高变换器输出 的波形质量,在传统 MMC 中引入电容电压不同的全桥子模块,并提出了一种基于叠加阶梯调 制的混合型 MMC 谐波优化策略,通过滞环控制对全桥子模块的电容荷电状态进行分析,确定 子模块的最优投切方案,以达到电容电压阶梯均衡和谐波含量抑制的目的。在 Matlab/Simu⁃ link 仿真平台下搭建了混合 MMC 逆变侧的仿真模型,对所提出的谐波优化策略进行验证。仿 真结果表明,在保证经济性的同时,所提出的谐波优化策略显著提升了输出波形质量,验证了 该策略的有效性。

MMC Harmonic Optimization Strategy Based on Superposition Gradational Modulation

Abstract:Modular multilevel converter (MMC) has been widely used in flexible DC transmis⁃ sion due to its modularity and extensibility. However, the MMC employed in medium voltage system suffers minor level number and high harmonic content on account of the reduced cell number. To reduce the filter investment, full-bridge cells with different capacitor voltages are introduced into the traditional MMC, a harmonic optimization strategy based on superimposed gradational modulation is proposed to improve the waveform quality. Through hysteresis con⁃ trol, the state of capacitor charge of the full bridge submodule is analyzed, and the optimal switching scheme of the submodule is determined to achieve capacitor voltage step balance and harmonic content suppression. The simulation model of the hybrid MMC inverter is built under the Matlab/Simulink, and the proposed harmonic optimization strategy is verified. The simula⁃ tion results show that the proposed harmonic optimization strategy significantly improves the output waveform quality while ensuring the economy, which verifies the effectiveness of the proposed method.
