摘要: 采用多釜串联中试聚合设备,连续法本体聚合制备透明ABS树脂。通过对聚合物微观结构及物理性能的测定,探究不同聚合温度工艺参数对本体透明ABS结构与性能影响。结果表明:较低的聚合温度有利于提高制品的相对分子质量,使相对分子质量分布较窄,并利于橡胶接枝率的提高;低聚合温度不利于提高加工流动性,但可以提升橡胶的增韧效果,使透明ABS树脂的抗冲击强度提高,同时有利于耐热性增强;ABS树脂的透明性受聚合温度影响很大,高聚合温度使得树脂产生黄变同时透光率下降,雾度显著上升。综合各项性能得到最优的聚合温度(115 ℃ 2 h,135 ℃ 2 h,145 ℃ 4 h),该条件下制备的透明ABS树脂兼具优异的透明性和较好的力学性能、耐热性及加工流动性。

Effect of Polymerization Temperature on Structure and Properties of Bulk Transparent ABS Resin

Abstract: Transparent ABS resin was prepared by continuous bulk polymerization using a pilot plant in series with multiple reactors. By measuring and studying the microstructure and physical properties of polymer, the influence of different polymerization temperature on the structure and properties of bulk transparent ABS was explored. The results showed that lower polymerization temperature was beneficial to increase the molecular weight of MABS, narrow the molecular weight distribution, and improve the grafting rate of rubber. Low polymerization temperature was adverse to improve the processing fluidity, but it could improve the toughening effect of rubber, enhance the impact strength of transparent ABS resin, and help to boost the heat resistance. The transparency of ABS resin was significantly affected by the polymerization temperature. High polymerization temperature made the resin yellow, while the light transmittance decreased, and the haze increased significantly. The optimum polymerization temperature (115 ℃ 2 h,135 ℃ 2 h,145 ℃ 4 h) were obtained by synthesizing various properties. The transparent ABS resin prepared under these conditions has excellent transparency, good mechanical properties, heat resistance and processing fluidity.
