有机-无机杂化膨胀型阻燃剂的合成及其对防火涂料性能的影响

摘要: 利用季戊四醇(PER)和氧氯化磷改性可膨胀石墨(EG)合成了一种新型有机无机杂化膨胀型阻燃剂(MEG),并采用MEG制备了一系列以苯丙乳液为成膜物的防火涂料。通过锥形量热仪和辐射热流计(RHFM)研究了MEG对膨胀型防火涂料的防火性能影响。利用热重分析(TGA)探究MEG对膨胀型防火涂料热降解性能的影响。锥形量热仪实验结果表明:相比于EGMEG能够使防火涂料的热释放速率(HRR)下降139%,残炭量上升,炭层的致密性提高。辐射热流计结果表明:相比于EG,含MEG的防火涂料能够使样品温度下降6%,提升炭渣的致密程度。TGA结果表明:MEG能够促进防火涂料在高温条件下成炭。综合上述,MEG是通过改善炭层结构,尤其是增加成炭量和炭层致密性而提高防火性能的。

Abstract: An organicinorganic hybrid intumescent flame retardant (MEG) was synthesized by modifying expandable graphite with pentaerythritol and phosphorous oxychloride. A series of intumescent fire retardant coated with MEG have been prepared. The fire resistant properties influenced by MEG on intumescent fire retardant coating has been studied by cone calorimeter(CCT) and radiation heat flow meter(RHFM). The thermal degradation properties affected by MEG on intumescent fire resistant coatings have been investigated using thermalgravimetric analysis (TGA). The CCT results indicate that MEG can make the peak of heat release rate(PHRR) of the sample with MEG reduce by 139%, improve the char residue, and improve dense char residues of the coatings compared with EG. The RHFM result indicate that MEG can make the temperature of the sample with MEG reduce by 6%, and improve dense char residues of the coatings compared with EG. The TGA results show that MEG can enhance the weight of char residue at high temperature. It can be concluded that MEG shows synergistic flame retardant effect with IFR in intumescent fire retardant coating system.
