摘要: 能耗受限是无线传感器网络(WSN)应用的主要特征之一,为了降低能耗,最直接的方法就是降低传输功率,然而由此带来的重传问题往往会适得其反。如何选择最优的功率一直是无线传感器网络研究中的热点。本研究提出了一种考虑能耗和干扰的无线传感器网络功率控制技术。基于几何理论计算出考虑干扰下的节点发送最优功率,使得网络在保证链路可靠传输的同时减小了发送功率,从而节省节点能量。仿真结果表明,本研究的方法在能量和吞吐量上都有显著提高。

Adaptive Transmitting Power Control for WSN of Interference Suppression

Abstract: Energy constrained is one of the critical issues in wireless sensor networks. To reduce the power consumption, the intuitive way is to decrease the transmit power. However the methods make things serious as retransmissions. So how to choose the optimal transmitting power is a hot topic in WSN research. In this paper, we proposed energy and interference aware transmitting power(TP) scheme for transmitting sensor nodes in WSN. Optimal TP for the node was derived by geometry theory considering the interference, which could provide reliable connection and less energy consumption. This strategy is then compared to other methods and its energy efficiency and throughput performance enhancement is verified by extensive simulations.
